August Club Kit - Option #2 Summer Mix-In Kit

    

Here's an additional kit to order for your August Club Kit. The Summer Mix-In Kit is a trio of mostly black and white layouts to make some of your summer photos POP! This kit uses two packages each of the Mix-In Paper Packet and Coordinating Cardstock, Silver Glitter Gems and various CTMH Cricut cuts. The "Say Cheese" Hostess Rewards stamp set and "What a Day" stamp set from a previous CTMH Convention were used. Either one could be substituted out with a stamp set to customize your layouts.

The "#Today" title comes from our new Flower Market Cricut cartridge, the "happy" is one of our Thin Cuts, the "DAY" letters from our Artiste Cricut cartridge and the circles from our Art Philosophy cartridge.

LUCKY Layout - St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!

St. Patrick's Day is a fun day for Irish and Irish-for-a-day alike to celebrate. This day has even more meaning to my friend, Deborah, as she celebrates her wellness from cancer each year. We celebrated early this year with lots of hugs and goodies. I created a layout to hold the group photo as a keepsake for Deborah. 

Here's the info to create the layout:

CTMH Supplies:

Topiary CS 12x12, 5 1/4 x 7 1/4, 3 1/8 x 2

Black CS 11 1/2 x 11 1/2, 5 1/2 x 7 1/2

Sweet Leaf  CS 11 1/4 x 11 1/4

Other green print 5x7

White CS 2 7/8 x 1 1/2

Foam Tape

Desert Sand Stamp Pad

Sponge

Circuit Cuts:

Art Philosophy: 

Hearts (cut 12 of each):  Topiary hearts 1 1/2”, CTMH Green dot print hearts 1 1/4”

Banners (cut 5 of each): Kraft CS 2 1/2”, CTMH Gold Glitter paper 2”

Title letters LUCKY: Don Juan Cricut Cartridge: Black CS 2”, Shadow Topiary CS 2”

Embellishments:

CTMH Gold Treasured Puffies & Baker's Twine

Directions:

-Distress paper edges with CTMH Desert Sand ink

-Adhere Topiary, Black and Sweet Leaf bases together and 5x7 mats together (wrap with baker's twine before adhering to page).

-Adhere banners and letters together, using foam tape to "pop" the banners up.

-Sew hearts together down center with machine stitching. Fold up the printed layer on top. Adhere hearts in four leaf clover shapes onto page. Add gold treasured puffs to clover centers.

-Stamp "to have you" with any font stamps and add a heart stamped image. Layer with mat and loosely adhere to side of photo mat.

-Add gold treasured puffies hearts.

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday to all my fellow September and fall birthday buddies!  It's so much fun to celebrate our birthdays together.  Enjoy your special day!  Have a fun and festive day, week or even birthday month!  In our family, birthdays are a big deal - we celebrate with a "birthday week." You get to pick all your favorite meals, people and places to visit, and things to do for that week.  

I had some birthday fun wrapping gifts this week with colorful banners.  I first wrapped the gifts with kraft paper - some with dots, some with stripes.  Then I wrapped and tied some black polka dot ribbon around the packages using glue dots to hold it in place.  I cut 2" banners from a variety of bright solid and printed papers and glue dotted them down onto the ribbon.  The banners can be found on our CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge, which is my default cartridge always in my machine. 

Makes me happy just looking at them!
