Gold Country Retreat!

Kirsten and I had our first GOLD COUNTRY RETREAT last weekend and it was a great time!  I really enjoyed spending time with friends, especially the ones I hadn't seen in a while.  We were thrilled with the response and success of this event.  Held in the spacious banquet facility of the Best Western Placerville Inn, each guest enjoyed their own 5 ft. table to craft on.  Many participants took advantage of our discounted guest room rates we offered for the event, spending the night and enjoying the free full breakfast at the hotel.
One of the retreat goodie bag items was all the pieces to
create a Valentine-inspired layout, "Love is in the Air:"
A country scene with plane flying an airborne banner.   The "string" pulling the banner is depicted using our Baker's Twine string stitched into the layout.  Creating even stitches is easy using our CTMH Stitch Guide and Foam Mat.

When we retired to our guest rooms on Saturday night, our crop room was visited by some familiar little guys.  They were waiting for all the croppers when they came in on Sunday morning. . .
Minions!!  I love minions, they make me smile.
We found this fun idea on Pinterest.
They are made with Pepperidge Farms Milano cookies.
Kirsten did an awesome job decorating them!

We will be offering more Gold Country Crops and Retreats -- announcing upcoming dates soon.  We hope YOU can join us next time!
